1. Overview

This website is operated by PureCanine (purecanine.uk — the "Site", "we", "us", "our"). By visiting the Site and/or purchasing a product, you are using our services (the "Service") and agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"), as well as all policies they refer to (including our Privacy Policy, Delivery Policy, and Returns & Refunds Policy).

Please read these Terms carefully before accessing the Site or using the Service. If you do not accept the Terms in full, you must not use the Site or place an order.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform that enables us to sell our products and services.

2. Access and use of the Site

By using the Site, you confirm that you are of legal age under the law applicable in your country of residence, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.

You agree not to use our products or the Site for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose, and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations (including intellectual property rights). You must not transmit any virus, malicious code, or anything likely to disrupt the Site or the Service. Any breach may result in suspension or termination of your access.

3. General conditions

We reserve the right to refuse service to any person, at any time, for any legitimate reason.

You understand that certain information (excluding payment information) may be transmitted across various networks and adapted to meet technical requirements. Payment information is handled by our payment providers and protected by appropriate security measures.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any part of the Service without our prior written authorisation.

4. Accuracy of information

The content on the Site is provided for general information purposes. We endeavour to ensure the accuracy of the information presented, but we do not guarantee that it is complete, accurate, or up to date at all times.

We reserve the right to modify the content of the Site at any time, without any obligation to update.

5. Products, availability, and pricing

Certain products may be available exclusively online and in limited quantities. Prices may be changed at any time without notice. We reserve the right to limit the quantities sold per order, per household, or per customer. We make every effort to display product images and colours accurately, but we cannot guarantee that your screen will reproduce them identically.

6. Orders and contract formation

The display of products on the Site does not constitute a legally binding offer, but an invitation to purchase.

By completing your order (including payment), you are submitting an offer to purchase. Orders are generally confirmed by an automated acknowledgement email. Unless stated otherwise, the contract of sale is considered formed when the order is accepted and/or when the product is dispatched.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order, including where there is a manifest error (in price, description, or availability), a suspicion of fraud, or incomplete or inconsistent billing or delivery information.

7. Payment and billing information

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current order and account information (including email address and delivery address). If the information you provide is incorrect, this may result in delivery delays or failed delivery, for which we cannot be held responsible.

8. Delivery

Details, estimated timescales, and any applicable delivery charges are set out in our Delivery Policy.

All timescales are estimates and may vary due to high demand, logistical constraints, customs checks, force majeure, or other factors outside our control.

9. Returns, refunds, and replacements

Returns and refunds are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy, available on the Site.

Key reminders: returns are not free — return postage costs are the customer's responsibility. Items that arrive damaged or faulty may be eligible for a free replacement on submission of photo or video evidence. Used and/or wet filters are non-refundable.

10. Filter subscription

PureCanine offers a recurring filter subscription service. By subscribing, you agree to the following terms in addition to these Terms of Service.

Each subscription delivers one pack of six PureFlow replacement filters (model FF007L-06) every three months, billed at £24.95 per cycle. This is a discounted rate — the equivalent one-off purchase price is £29.95. Your first charge is taken at the point of subscribing. Subsequent charges are taken automatically every three months on the same date.

You may cancel at any time with no notice period required, via your account portal at purecanine.uk. There are no cancellation fees. Any order already processed and dispatched before cancellation is non-refundable.

If a payment fails, we will automatically retry up to three times. If all attempts are unsuccessful, your subscription will be suspended. You will be notified by email and may reactivate once your payment details have been updated.

We reserve the right to update subscription pricing or terms. Where a change affects your billing, we will notify you by email with reasonable notice before it takes effect. Continued use of the subscription after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Opened, used, or wet filters are non-refundable. Unopened filter packs in their original intact packaging may be returned in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy.

11. Third-party tools and external links

The Site may feature services, tools, or links to third-party websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, policies, or operation. Any use of third-party tools or services is at your own risk and subject to those third parties' own terms.

12. Reviews, comments, and user content

If you submit a review, comment, or any other content (collectively, "Content"), you confirm that you hold the necessary rights to publish it, that it does not infringe any third-party rights, and that it is not unlawful, defamatory, threatening, offensive, misleading, or obscene.

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and publish such Content for the purposes of operating the Site (e.g. displaying product reviews).

We may remove any Content that we determine, at our sole discretion, to be in breach of these Terms.

13. Prohibited uses

You must not use the Site or its content for any unlawful purpose, to infringe intellectual property rights, to harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against others, to transmit viruses or malicious code, to collect third-party personal data without authorisation, or to circumvent any of the Site's security measures. We may suspend or terminate your access in the event of a breach.

14. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including text, visuals, logos, design, and other materials — is protected by intellectual property law. Any unauthorised reproduction or use is strictly prohibited.

15. Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by law, the Site and the Service are provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors.

Statutory rights available to consumers under UK law remain unaffected where they cannot be excluded.

16. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect damages (including loss of profit, loss of data, or non-material loss) arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including liability for fraud, gross negligence, or rights granted to consumers under UK consumer protection legislation.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold PureCanine harmless from any claim, demand, or damages (including reasonable costs) arising from your breach of these Terms or of any third party's rights.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

19. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we determine that you are in breach of these Terms. Any obligations and liabilities incurred prior to termination shall survive.

20. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us in the first instance to seek an amicable resolution. If no agreement can be reached, the courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time by publishing a revised version on the Site. Your continued use of the Site following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
